
Job description
The Millwright Mechanic repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical plant equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments. They perform preventative maintenance, plant inspections, and metal fabrication. The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, trouble-shooting skills, and effective communication skills.
Repair pumps, motors, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, troubleshoot equipment function, and interact with equipment operators to determine needs. Perform preventative maintenance, plant inspections, and metal fabrication.
This role requires a Millwright license, 3+ years of experience in a similar role, and effective interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in hydraulics, electrical, pumps, valves, piping, threading, and pneumatic systems, and be able to work in all environments.
