Job description
The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the availability of materials to support production schedules, customer commitments, and inventory optimization. This role manages material requirements, monitors supply flow, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to minimize shortages and excess while supporting on-time delivery performance.
Coordinate material requirements planning (MRP) to align with production schedules and customer demand. Monitor and manage material flow through the supply chain, ensuring timely availability for manufacturing operations.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production support environment is required. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills are also necessary.
