
Job description
Join the Technical Safety & Regulatory Compliance team as an Environmental Test Engineer to work on regulatory development, certification, and compliance activities. The role involves testing On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) systems on production-level vehicles and working closely with calibration and certification teams.
Acquire, prepare, and test production vehicles to validate OBD systems. Demonstrate diagnostic functionality, collect data, and verify detection. Support other tailpipe, EVAP, or OBD test programs.
This role requires strong organizational skills, computer skills, and knowledge of North American emissions regulations. Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle testing, propulsion system calibration, and vehicle diagnostics is a plus.
