
Job description
The Simulation Engineer builds simulation models to predict throughput for new program launches, modifications, and improvements to existing programs. They study plant layouts, gather data, and analyze systems to provide cost-effective improvement recommendations.
Build simulation models, analyze systems, and provide recommendations for throughput improvements. Work with discrete event simulation, AutoCad layouts, probability & statistics, and data visualization.
Must have experience in OEM automotive manufacturing, discrete event simulation, and programming languages like Python, R, C++, Java, or Simtalk. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with large data sets.
