Parts, Materials and Processes Engineer

Role Overview

Stellar Solutions is seeking a Parts, Materials and Processes Engineer to support our Civil, Commercial, Defense and/or Intelligence Customers. As a subject matter expert on Parts, Materials and Processes, you will contribute to architectural and mission success of space systems that will be utilized by a variety of government and commercial stakeholders.

What You Will Do

Recommend Electrical/ Electronic/ Electromechanical (EEE) parts and materials required for Space environmental effects, generate required programmatic analyses, and recommend material selection and configuration/process improvements to address product reliability/quality/lifecycle survivability improvements.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Material Science, 5+ years of experience in EEE parts selection, and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret or higher security clearance.

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Material Science
• 5+ years of experience in EEE parts selection
• 5+ years of experience leading or managing Corrective Actions or Root Cause Analysis
• 5+ years of experience analyzing and presenting technical data (oral or written)
• 5+ years of experience in DPA and reliability/failure/contamination analyses (part, unit, system) and test
