Plant Operator

Stericycle is a U.S. based business-to-business services company seeking a Plant Operator to assist in the day to day operation of the plant for the receipt, treatment and disposal of clinical waste. The Plant Operator will ensure maximum plant availability and productivity in accordance with company operational procedures and legislative obligations.

Requirements

• Unloading of vehicles and trailers
• Effective manoeuvring of waste on the plant and weighing of containers
• Ensuring waste containers are emptied, cleaned and ready for collection
• Co-ordinating paperwork and reception of all deliveries
• Safe handling of waste
• Operating fork lift truck
• Maintaining company operational records and data
• Assisting Shift Supervisor and Plant Manager
• Observing and complying with safety procedures
