
Job description
You will take on the role of Equipment owner and implement equipment improvement projects to achieve the best possible maintenance cost per wafer, equipment reliability, wafer fab yield and throughput parameters.
Manage new equipment start up, liaise with vendors, to acceptance of equipment for production, plan, organize and implement technical support and expertise on specific tools to Assistant Maintenance Engineers and Technicians, establish CM procedures and troubleshooting guides to allow efficient troubleshooting, establish PM procedures to achieve best possible Preventive Maintenance efficiency without compromising quality, provide training to Assistant Maintenance Engineers, Technicians to enhance their troubleshooting skills and equipment knowledge, establish critical equipment spares, consumables stock levels to support equipment recovery time, translate the requirements of Production and Engineering needs into maintenance tasks and work closely with them to achieve the overall committed targets in all aspects of manufacturing parameters, participate in cost reduction projects to maintain cost efficiency, generate regular Equipment downtime pareto reports and analyzing for any chronic/repeated issues.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 1 to 3 years’ experience in Wet Equipment including Spray solvent tool, Wet bench modular tanks and different types of drying mechanism, good knowledge in reading and analyzing electrical schematic and block diagrams, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, possess excellent interpersonal skills to teamwork within and with other departments, familiar with Microsoft office applications, good knowledge in statistical tools, problem solving tools, FMEA and 8D, knowledge in PLC programming will be an added advantage.
