Certified Coder

Role Overview

Certified Coder responsible for reviewing and analyzing physicians' documentation, CPT, and ICD-10 diagnosis codes. Ensures compliance with established coding guidelines, third-party reimbursement policies, regulations, and accreditation guidelines.

What You Will Do

Provide complex and technical assignments relating to medical coding, analyze and code information, resolve discrepancies, review and correct rejected claims, and perform other duties as assigned.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certification, Associate's Degree, or 5 years of experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills required.

• 5 years of experience (in lieu of Associate's degree)
• Working knowledge of coding requirements
• Excellent expressive and written communication skills
• Highly organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
