Registrar - Patient Registration HSD - PT - Evening

Provide excellent customer service to all patients, visitors, and other guests to Stormont Vail. Register patients in a timely manner including demographic, insurance, visit information, and obtain signatures on documents.

Requirements

• 1 year Experience in customer service
• Experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
• Knowledge of Patient Rights, HIPAA and Medicare Secondary Payer guidelines (preferred proficiency)
• Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions (preferred proficiency)
• Able to learn and understand basic medical terminology used in the department (preferred proficiency)
