Deli Manager

The Deli Manager is responsible for scheduling departmental associates, overseeing their training, evaluating their work, and delegating their work assignments. They develop and implement merchandising plans, control department costs, and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Knowledge of all aspects of Deli operations
• Proven skills in taking appropriate and decisive action to meet budget expectations
• Excellent communication skills with vendors, customers, and employees
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 lbs
• 1 year minimum experience as a manager in food service
• Must possess excellent communication skills (both oral and written), good leadership and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to get along with customers, vendors, suppliers, and associates, and must be able to motivate and lead others
