K12, a Stride Company, seeks a High School History Teacher to join the Volunteer State Virtual Academy (VSVA) team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, active state teaching license, and ability to clear required background check. Experience working with proposed age group, supporting adults and children in technology use, and teaching in online/virtual environments is desired. The teacher will deliver course content, provide instruction, support, and guidance, and work closely with students and parents/learning coaches to advance each student's learning toward established goals. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week, and maintain a professional home office is required.
