
Job description
The Concrete Superintendent is responsible for directing and supervising all concrete construction activities, with a strong emphasis on reinforcing steel, complex formwork systems, and high-quality concrete placement and finishing. This role leads field operations to ensure concrete work is executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with contract documents, specifications, and quality standards.
Direct crews working with multi-faceted and engineered form systems, ensure reinforcing steel is installed per plans, oversee concrete placements including mass pours, sloped slabs, elevated decks, walls, piers, and flatwork, and manage finishing tolerances, surface finishes, edge details, chamfers, and architectural requirements.
7–10+ years of hands-on concrete construction experience, including supervisory roles, demonstrated experience with reinforcing steel installation, concrete finishing, and complex form systems, and strong working knowledge of rebar detailing, formwork tolerances, and concrete placement methods.
