Traveling Construction Foreman

Role Overview

We are recruiting for a Construction Foreman to lead field projects of various sizes, working closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other leaders within VSL. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project safety, motivating team members, and ensuring crews operate safely and productively.

What You Will Do

As a Construction Foreman, you will lead field projects, manage overall project safety, motivate team members, and ensure crews operate safely and productively. You will also provide training and assistance to field managers and crews, assist Project Managers in evaluating production rates, and complete essential paperwork.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Prior experience on post-tensioned structures
• Ability to travel up to 100%
• Proven ability to manage complex construction work
• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and execute to construction drawings and contract specifications
• Established dedication to safety
• Experience in schedule and task management
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the customer, crew, and project teams
• Intermediate computer skills and construction math skills
