Mass Timber Estimator

We are looking for a Mass Timber Estimator to join our growing team. As a mass timber estimating representative, you will work on high profile timber project opportunities with some of North America's leading clients and architects. You will be responsible for estimating and related tasks, including developing mass timber supplier relationships, reviewing project drawings, and creating preliminary budgets and proposals.

Requirements

• Completion of a three-year college program in civil or construction engineering technology
• 3 years of experience in mass timber industry, estimating mass timber buildings (preferred)
• Knowledge of mass-timber product supply chain (asset)
• Significant experience with Excel, development of smart spreadsheets
• Experience with Bluebeam
• Good at quick math
• Experience working with 3D modelling software such as Rhino/AutoCAD (asset)
• Detailed personality with an eye for accuracy, data organization, ability to multi-task, service-oriented
• High level of fluency reading drawings, specifications, and related project documents
• Great communication skills, verbally and written (strong grammar/spelling)
