Job Description
The RN Med-Surg Clinical Instructor will teach theory and clinical courses, coordinate the nursing area, and integrate the Watson and QSEN Model into the curriculum. The instructor will also supervise assistant instructors and clinical teaching assistants.
Requirements
- Master's or higher degree in nursing, education, or administration
- Direct patient care experience within the previous five years in the nursing areas of geriatrics, medical-surgical, mental, mental-health/psychiatric nursing, obstetrics, or pediatrics
- Validated clinical competence
- Ability to work in a diverse environment
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
