
Job description
Set up and operate Wire EDM/Vollmer machines to produce high-precision components. Monitor machine performance, make adjustments, and troubleshoot issues. Develop and optimize CNC programs based on engineering drawings and specifications.
Load and unload work pieces, install and align tooling, and perform necessary machine adjustments. Conduct routine maintenance on Wire EDM/Vollmer machines to ensure optimal performance.
Proven experience as a Wire EDM Operator/Programmer in a manufacturing environment, specifically with FANUC/Sodick. Knowledge of machine shop practices, techniques, operations, and ability to communicate effectively.
