Job description
Work as a team player in a fast-paced pathology company, assisting with processing and preparation of surgical and cytology specimens. Rotate through hospitals and lab facilities in Northern Colorado. Provide exceptional care to patients and work closely with pathologists and hospital staff.
Assess specimen quality, prepare specimens for processing or grossing, accession specimens into the LIS system, perform data entry, and maintain accurate quality control of requisitions.
Must have excellent customer service skills, ability to work independently, and maintain necessary level of confidentiality to protect patient privacy. Previous data entry or laboratory/healthcare experience preferred.
