Head Volleyball Coach

SUNY Ulster County Community College is seeking a Head Volleyball Coach to develop and administer the volleyball program. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, knowledge of NCAA or NJCAA regulations, and a commitment to academic excellence.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Evidence of strong organizational and communication skills
• Current knowledge of NCAA or NJCAA regulations
• Ability to successfully recruit college level student athletes
• Previous coaching experience
• Evidence of a commitment to academic excellence including athlete graduation
• Ability to interact effectively with student-athletes, colleagues, and the public
• Commitment to community college goals and objectives
• Personal qualities to work effectively and with sensitivity in a multicultural environment
• Awareness of and commitment to the needs of non-traditional and/or re-entry students with diverse abilities and interests
