
Job description
The Network Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Superloop's domestic and global Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks, providing maximum performance and availability to all customers. The role is primarily responsible for building, supporting, and maintaining all network devices and associated services within Superloop's networks.
Design and implement scalable network infrastructure, monitor and optimise network performance, manage network capacity to meet growth and performance targets, and oversee the operation of Superloop's Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals, experience supporting and troubleshooting network services in a service provider or enterprise environment, and effective communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
