Senior Software Engineer – TypeScript / Node.js

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be building and operating production-grade systems, working with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, and building user-facing products at scale.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer building and operating production-grade systems
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.JS, with a solid understanding of modern JavaScript runtimes and asynchronous programming
• Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, and the ability to choose the right tools for the problem
• Hands-on experience with React; experience with React Native or mobile development is a strong plus
• Solid understanding of cloud-based architectures and microservices, including service communication, scalability, and reliability
• Strong product engineering mindset, with experience building user-facing products at scale
• Passion for writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Practical experience with Agile engineering practices, including Pair Programming, TDD/BDD, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
• Ability to take full ownership of your code throughout its entire lifecycle, from design to production and continuous improvement
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across cross functional teams
• Fluent in English and Swedish
