SwingDev is a Polish branch of a fast-growing InsurTech product company. We're looking for a Mid Back-end Engineer to implement backends and interact with various data stores and APIs. The role involves working in an agile environment, supporting reliable databases and APIs, and deploying software using industry-standard tooling.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Practical knowledge of a relational database system (e.g. PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server)
- Experience implementing the test pyramid (unit, integration, e2e tests)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to convey ideas clearly across technical and non-technical teams
- Responsibility, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership in delivering high-quality work
- Good security practices
- Ability to learn and expand skill set as required by ongoing projects
- Good command of English (written & spoken)
