Backend Engineer II

Develop and deploy complex software for AI products and technologies using Python and Django/Django Rest Framework. Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to design software solutions.

Requirements

• BS/BA, MS or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Excellent knowledge in Python
• Excellent knowledge in Django/Django Rest Framework
• Expertise in building highly scalable and robust RESTful APIs
• Excellent knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, Network Programming, and Operating Systems
• In-depth knowledge and experience with designing and implementing DevOps concepts such as continuous integration and automated testing
• In-depth knowledge of relational database concepts and extensive experience writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database interactions
• Strong knowledge of Application Security (TLS/SSL/HTTPS) best practices
• Excellent experience in using Git for collaborative development
• Excellent experience in using Docker for containerization and local development
• Experience in Machine Learning concepts is a plus
