AEGIS Operations & Maintenance Manager

Role Overview

We have an immediate need for a full-time AEGIS Operations & Maintenance Manager to oversee the requirements of the Statement of Work at our Wallops Island, Virginia, station. The Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) at Wallops Island requires support in management, engineering, operations, and technical expertise for the activation, operation, maintenance, and engineering of equipment, systems, and computer programs.

What You Will Do

Assists in various types of electronic systems, including system design, integration, modification, testing, installation engineering, and design engineering. Supervises technical staff assigned to project and trains project personnel in procedures and approaches available for the work effort.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have at least 10 years of Combat Systems experience in the AEGIS Combat Systems, including tactical employment in support of Surface, Air, Subsurface, Ballistic Missile Defense and Strike warfare areas. Must have at least eight years of management experience with the Surface Combat Systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 10 years of Combat Systems experience in the AEGIS Combat Systems
• At least 8 years of management experience with the Surface Combat Systems
• Active DoD Secret security clearance (or eligible to obtain and maintain)
• U.S. citizenship
