Medical Director, Medical Affairs

Taiho Oncology is seeking a Medical Director, Medical Affairs to build and implement the Medical Launch readiness plan for early pipeline products. The ideal candidate will have strategic and scientific expertise, strong business acumen, and medical affairs launch experience. The position involves leading the development of the Integrated Medical Affairs Plan (iMAP) and executing on medical affairs tactics, as well as working cross-functionally with other key functions at Taiho.

Requirements

• MD is required
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in both HQ and field roles
• Therapeutic Areas (TAs)- scientific training and experience in Oncology/Immunology required
• Strong sense of accountability, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a smaller and flatter organizational structure providing many diverse responsibilities, high visibility and access to Sr. Management
• Proven track record of developing internal relationships and working effectively with cross-functional partners in a highly matrixed environment
• Demonstrated ability in driving results to a positive outcome
• Ability to engage in positive dialogues, influence outcomes and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner
