
Job description
The Assistant Service Manager will lead the Service Department, overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality service to customers. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as experience in diesel mechanics and fleet or dealership leadership.
Responsibilities include interpreting and implementing Service Department policies, reviewing financial reports, supervising staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Assistant Service Manager will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized shop area, coordinating with other departments, and evaluating staff performance.
This role is suitable for individuals with 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience and 2-5 years of Fleet or dealership leadership experience.
