Gibraltar Mine is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to join our Environmental Department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an environmental professional to support key monitoring programs, data analysis, and compliance activities at one of Canada’s largest open-pit copper mines.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of environmental experience, ideally in the field of water quality or environmental management.
- Proficient at technical writing, communication, and presenting.
- Working knowledge of provincial and federal regulations as they relate to mining and the environment.
- Proficiency with ArcGIS will be an asset.
- Excellent organizational abilities and time management skills.
- Comfortable working with ATV, UTV, and snowmobiles will be an asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite.
- Experience with Database management, such as Monitor Pro, will be an asset.
- Valid Canadian driver’s license and ability to work in a field environment as required.
