TaskUs Outsourcing Japan provides services in test engineering, endurance testing, application development, and process automation to help customers improve the usability and safety of automated driving systems. The company is looking for a Fleet Servicing & Maintenance Technician/Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair a fleet of Purpose Built Vehicles. The role requires expertise in both base vehicle systems and autonomous vehicle technologies.

Requirements

• Successfully completed technical training as a Vehicle-Mechatronic, Automotive Mechatronics Technician, or a Level 2 Automotive Technician
• Strong experience using diagnostic machines to identify and repair mechanical issues
• Familiar with repairing vehicles from an OEM's repair manual, covering component and bodywork repairs
• Safe working ethic and familiarity with Risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and OSHA
• Strong customer-facing communication skills to help with fault diagnosis
• Computer literate and able to use programmes such as Word and Excel for tracking work done on vehicles
• Full clean Japan driving license
• At least 2 years' driving experience mainly in Japan
• No blameworthy insurance claims in the past three years
• Strong driving skills and knowledge and willingness to continue developing
• Good attitude and a willingness to learn and pivot as the company goals change
