MFG & PROCESS DVL ENGINEER

TE's Aerospace Defense & Marine Division is seeking a Manufacturing and Process Development Engineer to deliver engineering design, development, and implementation of next generation manufacturing technologies and processes.

Requirements

• Execution of Manufacturing deliverables to the NPD Phase Gate process
• New process and equipment compliance with TE safety and ergonomic policies
• DFM/A input into the early stages of product design
• PFMEA and implementation of high-risk mitigation plans
• Manufacturing capacity analysis
• Value stream mapping
• Assembly tooling and equipment development
• Process qualification via capability studies
• Execution of sample builds including generation of first article inspection reports
• Generation of process specifications
• Develop and implement new manufacturing technologies and automation
• Apply a lean manufacturing focus to drive world class cost on new product and fuel plant-level productivity initiatives
