R&D/Product DvL Engineer (m/w/d)

Job Description: R&D/Product Development Engineer at TE Connectivity. Conceive original ideas for new products, introduce them into practice. Develop electromechanical components, create documentation and drawings, and coordinate testing. Ideal candidate has experience in design and material-conformant design of plastic components, excellent knowledge in Creo 4.0, and good English skills.

Requirements

• Dipl.-Ing. Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering / Construction, Precision Engineering etc. (FH, TH) or Technician
• Experience with development processes in the automotive environment and the corresponding quality requirements (QS9000ff; TS16949)
• Several years of experience in design and material-conformant design of plastic components
• Excellent knowledge in the design of complex components with Creo 4.0
• Good knowledge in drawing creation, GPS knowledge of advantage
• Good knowledge in MS-Office
• Good English skills in word and writing
• Knowledge in design-to-cost evaluation (business economic basic knowledge)
• Engagement, team capability and flexibility
• Independent and goal-oriented way of working
• Safe and representative appearance at internal as well as external interfaces
• Knowledge of the IEC 62196-2 and IEC 62196-3 standards
• Experience in development for charging inlets and complex mechatronic systems
• Software and hardware development
• Min. 5 years of experience in R&D Engineering
