Automation Technician - Robot Welder

Role Overview

Join our team at our Jackson, Michigan facility as a Robotic Welding Technician. The role involves using MIG/TIG welding equipment, supporting QA, and operating and recovering welding robots.

What You Will Do

Set up welders, perform 1st piece layouts, program and adjust robotic welders, maintain robotic welders, package parts, and complete documentation.

The ideal candidate brings 2 years of welding experience, proficiency in programming Motoman, Panasonic, and Fanuc robots, and a strong understanding of GD&T, blueprints, and weld fixture design.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience welding in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Good understanding of GD&T and blueprints
• Proficient programming Motoman, Panasonic, and Fanuc robots
• Ability to use CAD and SolidWorks
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to use precision measurement tools
• Good understanding of weld fixture design
• Forklift operator's license preferred
