Transmission Line Engineer

Role Overview

Under general supervision, the Transmission Line Engineer is responsible for designing overhead and underground transmission lines using proprietary CAD software, ensuring industry regulations and client standards are followed.

What You Will Do

Create cost-effective designs for high voltage electrical transmission lines, prepare detailed cost estimates, and maintain professionalism in all interactions.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the utilities sector, experience with PLS CADD or similar program(s), and advanced communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other relevant STEM field
• 5+ years of experience in the utilities sector
• 5+ years of experience with PLS CADD or similar program(s)
• Advanced communication skills (verbal and written)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools suite, especially Excel
• Completed FE or EIT certification is strongly preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Eligibility to work in United States of America
