Job Description
The Electrical Engineer II will lead the hardware design and implementation of embedded power electronics for battery-powered products, focusing on power conversion and motor control. This role will involve working through the product development process in a team environment, interacting with cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Design and own power electronics hardware for battery-powered products
- Design and debug MOSFET switching power stages and supporting circuits
- Support motor control hardware implementations and collaborate with firmware engineers on HW/FW interfaces
- Prototype, test, and troubleshoot embedded electronics
- Lead design activities including component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototype builds, and test plan development and execution
- Effectively communicate and motivate team members
- Independently track projects to ensure adherence to schedule and product development process
