Quality Inspector I

Role Overview

The Quality Inspector I is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, work-in-progress, assemblies, and finished medical devices to ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications.

What You Will Do

Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of medical device components and assemblies, conduct visual inspections and dimensional measurements, and complete inspection records and quality documentation accurately.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with 1–2 years of Quality Inspection experience (Associate Degree preferred)
• Experience using dimensional measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, and dial indicators
• Basic blueprint/print reading skills and understanding of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5)
• Familiarity with quality systems such as FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485 preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect small precision components
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good communication and documentation skills
