Mill Maintenance Supervisor

Role Overview

Reporting to the General Supervisor Mill Maintenance, the Maintenance Supervisor is accountable for planning, scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities. The rotation schedule will be an even rotation.

Key responsibilities include identifying potential safety issues, minimizing disruptions to operations, setting and monitoring performance targets, and administering company policy.

Requirements

• Journeyperson Millwright with a minimum seven (7) years' experience in a heavy industrial environment.
• At least one (1) year of lead-hand Supervisory experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications
• Working knowledge of MSHA Standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
• Proven and exemplary leadership skills
