Senior Accountant - Data

Reporting to the Global Data Owner, the Senior Accountant – Data will play a key role in supporting the data delivery within Teck’s Transformation Program, ensuring finance data is complete, consistent, and usable during migration from the current ERP system to SAP. This position is a full time, 18 month contract opportunity, based out of our Vancouver office, with up to 25% travel to Anchorage, AK.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related subject area
• Public accounting experience preferred; CPA designation is required
• 5+ years of progressive high-level accounting experience in financial reporting, general ledger, cost accounting, internal controls, audit, or tax
• Experience with ERP systems required; SAP S/4HANA experience is an asset
