TekniPlex is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for an immediate 3rd shift opening at our unionized plant in Ridgefield. The successful candidate will oversee production operations, ensuring adherence to company standards in quality, safety, efficiency, cost management, and profitability.
Requirements
- Supervise and manage shift production employees
- Achieve production and safety objectives
- Oversee the operation of production lines
- Utilize the ERP system to manage raw material usage, inventory, machine hours, and order closures
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain, compile, and summarize shift production documentation
- Provide hands-on training, motivation, and performance evaluation for production employees
- Identify and address equipment deficiencies
- Ensure production lines are properly supplied and prepared for operation
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees, management, and vendors
