Role Overview

We are seeking an Application Database Administrator to work in a remote environment with periodic support at Fort Belvoir or other places in the National Capitol Region. The role requires experience in database query languages, schema management, and working in various operating systems and programming languages. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments.

The Application Database Administrator will be responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer database. The role will involve working on various projects in a large organization and supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments.

Requirements

• Five (5) years progressive experience of database query languages such as Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server, and MS Access
• Three (3) years hands-on experience and expertise in Database Schema management
• Experience in at least two projects in a large organization responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer database
• Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments
• IAT II or Oracle Certified Associate or an equivalent vendor certification
