Job description
We are seeking a Network Installation Technician to join our team supporting Enterprise Infrastructure Installation Support. The role involves installing and terminating copper and fiber cabling infrastructure, as well as installing/removing overhead equipment mounts. The ideal candidate will have experience in organizing and leading large-scale network installations, and be familiar with engineering documentation, network topologies, and cabling infrastructure standards.
The Network Installation Technician will be responsible for identifying and distinguishing properties and types of copper and fiber cable, interpreting blueprints, and inventorying job supplies and materials. They will also perform labeling according to a labeling scheme, build telecommunication spaces, and install bonding infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of telecommunications and data cabling systems, materials, and testing procedures. They will be able to install and terminate copper and fiber cabling infrastructure, and have proficiency in coordinating and documenting technical installation processes.
