Transition Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to join our team supporting the Transportation Team. The work environment is in the Washington Metro Area, with a day shift schedule and occasional evening and weekend work. The role requires 8-10 years of system administration experience, with a focus on federal environments.

What You Will Do

Manage Windows Server and Linux VM infrastructure, administer virtualization platforms, implement patch management and configuration baselines, and support backup/restore and DR testing.

This role is a good fit for individuals with experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments, and who hold certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate or VMware VCP; ITIL v4.

Requirements

• 8–10 years in system administration
• Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments
• Certifications: Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate or VMware VCP; ITIL v4
• Bachelor’s in computer engineering or information systems
• Public Trust clearance
