Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our dedicated infrastructure operations team in Huntsville, Alabama—the Rocket City. In this hands-on role, you'll focus on the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of our Red Hat OpenShift container platforms and Linux environments that underpin mission-critical applications for NASA's ongoing operations on the International Space Station (ISS) and the Artemis program.
Requirements
- Administer and maintain Red Hat OpenShift platforms
- Perform advanced Linux (RHEL) system administration tasks
- Develop and execute automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible
- Support end users and application teams
- Implement and support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Monitor system performance and health
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps teams, and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with Red Hat technologies and container administration trends
