Mechanical Design Engineer

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to work closely with Production and Manufacturing Engineering to support all manufacturing and assembly requirements. The engineer will design, develop, and implement mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging solutions for efficient, repeatable, and high-quality assembly processes.

Requirements

• Design and develop mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic tooling solutions
• Interface closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Production
• Support manufacturing during tool implementation
• Provide cost estimates and delivery schedules for tooling and equipment
• Create and maintain accurate design documentation
• Research and remain current on emerging manufacturing technologies
• Conceptualize complete manufacturing systems and develop tooling designs
• Maintain post-delivery engagement with engineering and manufacturing teams
