Job description
The Tech Data Protection & Compliance Specialist will be part of the Group Legal team and work closely with IT, Security, People, and Telefónica. The role is based in Madrid, Spain, and focuses on the operational implementation of data protection topics and coordination of selected compliance activities across the BE-terna Group.
Responsibilities include taking responsibility for the operational implementation of data protection requirements, developing and maintaining key data protection processes, advising management and business units on data protection requirements and risks, and supporting audits and implementing resulting measures.
Ideal candidate will have several years of experience in data protection/privacy, strong knowledge of GDPR and relevant data protection laws, and experience in the operational implementation of data protection requirements in a corporate environment.
