Nurse Extern II - ICU

The Nurse Extern role is designed to provide expanded clinical experience for professional (RN) nursing students and to assist the Registered Nursing staff by performing patient care activities.

Requirements

• Accurately checks patient’s blood sugar and documents results as ordered
• Obtains vital signs appropriately based on patient’s age and condition
• Coordinates care with other health professionals
