We are looking for a Process Engineer who will develop technical solutions for our customers' needs and work independently in smaller-medium sized projects. The successful candidate will be an expert responsible for technical solutions in the liquid food industry and will be based in Tokyo, Japan.
Requirements
- Strong drive for results, analytic mindset, and ability to find common solutions
- Good communication skills and ability to create and maintain relationships
- Ability to structure work efficiently to deliver accurate and timely results
- Knowledge of food safety & hygienic design, food industry standards, practices, and regulations
- Ability to estimate cost or effort to complete tasks, and confidence working with pre-projects that have a high degree of uncertainty
- Fundamental knowledge of current legislation affecting process solutions, contractual and commercial awareness
- At least 1 year of experience in Engineering or Food technology, particularly with experience in liquid process industries
- University degree in Process Engineering, Food Technology, Chemical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or similar
- CAD 2D/3D skills are an advantage, especially Plant3D
- Business level Japanese language ability, Good English language ability is an advantage
