Job Description
Texana Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator Team Lead to perform residential mortgage loan origination and support the branch's loan production efforts. The role involves conducting sales activities away from the employer's business and requires a significant portion of the time spent away from the employer's place of business. This position focuses on managing borrower assessments and loan applications for timely closings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree preferred
- Valid NMLS license as required by state and federal regulations
- Previous experience in mortgage lending or financial services preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with loan origination systems and Microsoft Office tool
