Job Description
The Mortgage Loan Originator Team Lead is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans and supporting loan production within a branch, with some potential for outside sales activity. This is a commission-only position and requires meeting the Outside Sales Exemption criteria established by the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree preferred
- Valid NMLS license
- Previous experience in mortgage lending or financial services preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with loan origination systems and Microsoft Office tool
