Job Description
Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing position available at Texas A&M International University, starting Spring 2026. The successful candidate will teach specialty didactic and clinical courses in PMHNP, supervise and assess student clinical competencies, and participate in college and university committees.
Requirements
- Earned doctorate in nursing from an accredited university
- ABDs will be considered but must have earned a doctorate before the appointment
- PMHNP master's degree or post-graduate certificate in PMHNP from an accredited program
- Board certification as a PMHNP
- Current unrestricted/unencumbered license to practice registered nursing within the State of Texas
- Two or more years' experience treating patients as a PMHNP
- One or more years of teaching experience in higher education (strongly encouraged)
