The Texas A&M University Libraries are looking for a new Associate Level Web Services Librarian. This Librarian will play a key role in leading the administration of the SpringShare platform, overseeing the full suite of Springshare applications, and providing training, troubleshooting support, and hands-on collaboration on a variety of web-related projects.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years of related experience
- Ability to administer Springshare applications, ensure quality assurance for websites and applications, and work collaboratively with colleagues
- Strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with current and emerging academic library web services
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG, Section 508, and ADA requirements
