TextUs is looking for a Software Engineer, React Native to join their team and help build their products, with a focus on their iOS and Android mobile applications. The ideal candidate has 6-8 years of experience developing production React Native applications and is proficient in writing excellent documentation.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience developing production React Native applications
- Review documentation and designs concerning upcoming features
- Implement medium- to large-size features while reducing overall tech debt
- Collaborate with other team members to identify the best approach to solving problems
- Ensure work is properly covered by unit, integration, and e2e tests
- Proficient in writing excellent documentation
- Experienced with common software design patterns
- Comfortable with managing work with Git and GitHub
- Eager to understand our customers, and work with the Product team to deliver features which are a joy to use
- Interested in mentoring other developers in good development practices
- Highly collaborative, having empathy for others and a desire to help when teammates need assistance
- Able to demonstrate pragmatic decision making and problem-solving abilities
- Passionate about the craft of programming
- Eager to maintain robust CI/CD tooling, processes, testing and procedures
