Role Overview

Join Thales Portugal in our Aerospace and Security team as a Cyber Security Senior Engineer. Lead the design and integration of secure IT architectures across IT, IoT, ICS, cloud, and critical infrastructures. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align security architectures with infrastructure and operational needs.

What You Will Do

Design and integrate secure IT architectures, deploy and manage security technologies, ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and standards, and monitor and manage security risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Computer Science or a relevant technical field
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on engineering and architecture in IT, OT/ICS and Cloud environments
• Security certifications from organizations such as: ISC2, ISACA, SANS or other
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and security frameworks such as NIST
• Knowledge of ICS-specific frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82)
• Proficiency in English
